Seems I have tunnel vision in regards to Dark Side deck construction at the moment. All I want to do is fill the board with cheap units. I think i must have nightmares about Smuggler's Run/Sprint coming at me in my dreams, influencing my subconscious. I've tried cheap troopers, which is still being tweaked. It's time to exploit Tie Fighters and Z-95s. The idea is to have enough board control through plenty of cheap tactics icons. Alas a lot of icons are edge dependent, something which this deck might possibly struggle with, however so far it's worked out. If Jundland Wastes appears, all the better. Your pilots are grinning away. The Z-95s are the real stars of the show. I feel they're a nice answer to a lot of LS tricks at the moment. The navy buffs just make them better. It's also slightly risk to run a 4/4/2 resource split, however so far I've been lucky and had no issues. Again, limited testing. I'm debating whether the Jabba the Hutt pod would be a better fit to provide something more reliable. However then I could also run Sith Control with unit spam... which might even be better, so who knows. I tested the deck without Jundland and instead used the Slave 1 pod, but I think relying on capture is a pretty bad idea at the moment. The deck can really fall prey to spot removal. Those Rebel Assaults can punish the key units. I wanted some feedback simply because I'm not sure if this is a kneejerk reaction to Smugglers and Spies, or if it could be viable. Doubt it will ever be Tier 1 however. |

Have you had any problems keeping up with the LS after 4-5 turns since you run almost no resources?
Resources would help alleviate that issue but I'm not sure what I'd give up. It requires a bit more playing around with.
I have experimented with 2 x Tatooine Crash and 2 x Jabbas Reach as well, which might be slightly better. I'm liking how good Jabbas Barge fits in here as well, though I'm wary of Jawas clogging up my hand, which was the issue with the Tuskens.
