The general idea really is to be able to outspeed these decks and put a lot of defense on the board while also being agressive at the same time.

The General's Imperative tested badly, and five Heat of Battles is always really good.

Devastator is in here for the aggressive pushes. Smugglers get around him, but it's not like you're defending with him or the other Capital Ships anyway. Plus Control Room really helps speed the deck up resource-wise.

A Dark Time for the Rebellion is there to put pressure on your opponent, it isn't necessarily a staple pod in this deck type, but it isn't a bad one and gives a lot of aggression that a deck like this could need.

Really interesting deck. How much have you found the need for Star Destroyers?
Seems like you have a very reasonably amount of blast in there even without them.

How do you play around the Falcon?

It isn't necessarily the Star Destroyers, it's the resources and other cards that come with them are good. Devastator is still a very large powerhouse. Against the Slueth Scout decks I've learned that while you can't use decks like Big Red Bus anymore, you can still use cards like Palp and Devastator just you have to be aggressive with them rather than defensive.

How do you play around the Falcon?

There are five copies of Heat of Battle in the deck, that's how. Well if you're lucky, at least.

There's only two real consistent ways to deal with Falcon but they don't really have any synergy in this deck.
Trying to get 3 damage on the falcon with Heat of Battle is a tough one..if you don't kill it in edge they'll just bounce it.

So you block with Fleet Navigator and a Trandoshan Hunter. Win the edge and have a single Heat of Battle. They'll have to bounce the Falcon before you strike or the Trandoshan will kill it. You then use the Fleet Navigator to tactics whoever they bring out. Seriously though, anything that forces them to bounce the Falcon before it strikes counts as "dealing with it." Effectively, they just paid 5 for a unit that probably cost less than 5 and you know a card in their hand.

This is true, but there's really only two effect ways to deal with Falcon and they are in Cruel Interrogations and Jabba's Orders, both pods don't really have synergy in this deck. I'm really not too worried about Falcon anyway regardless.

Sorry for not being clear enough, I was only thinking about Deploy the Fleet and not Devastator. I find the Death Squadron Star Destroyers abit awkward with how agressive the LS is atm.
Have you tried Imperial Blockade in it's place?
