Yes, Han is a wimp without some kind of protection. Either use him as a distraction or throw Hoth Survival Gear on him and use him like you would in a jedi deck.

I'm still very novice to the SW LCG, but I would make room for 2x Mission Briefing. In my attempts to run Smugglers + Rebels, The Bettlefield Engineer synergizes amazingly well with the Echo Caverns, and the Blaster Emplacement is perfect for softening up targets for Han :)

I've toyed with that. Having that Instead of Home One might be much more annoying, but I'm leaning towards having more damage output with Home one. That might still happen.
I am not a fan of Han in this deck just because it makes their Force Chokes more live. I would rather play with Preparation for Battle, lots of speeders to go with Hoth Ops.

The only issue with speeders right now is that its still very edge dependent. As is a lot of the rebels cards.
Um, but he's already running speeders and lots of rebel cards, as this is a rebel deck. Adding Han is not going to help fix the edge problems, in fact it'll make it worse as the whole set has a total of only six force icons. I sometimes don't understand your thought process....

Yes, I know what he is running. I am saying that the main issue with rebels in general are that they are mostly edge win dependent. I am not saying anything about adding Han in anyway. Why would you think I wan?

My reason for adding Han, isn't for doing damage. He's a head fake.

I attack with Han. they defend and win the edge, hopefully using a bunch of their edge cards in the process because they don't want me targeted striking anything.

Then I attack with anything else and it makes it through because they just wasted their hand on Han.

I know Rebels aren't great with the edge, so I'm just trying to embrace that and try to work around it.

I can see what your saying, the only issue is your relying on that 1 card to make your deck work.

    Point Taken.
I've been running this deck with Prep for Battle instead of Han. It does indeed work very well.
