I think this is one of the best cards in the game for a red deck. Need resources, increase that by 2. Need damage increase that by 2. Want to remove cards or resources increase that by 2.
I'll have to try it out again, it just limited by the red die limitation. You already have to play it on a red character only and you have to choose an opponents red die, so they can just target your other dice and this die becomes a non-factor. Especially if they aren't running red.
It's also super susceptible to cunning, as you can just use cunning to remove this die from your opponents pool.
At 3 cost this seems like a big investment for something that may not even change the game. Feels like a bit of a win more card.
It most certainly can be a win more card, which is why I said in a red deck. Should have clarified that it should be a mono red deck. And I think with age this card should only get better. I was using it in a Phasma/Storm trooper x2 deck. and if one of them rolled damage, I would just increase it by 2. Plus I think this is the only way people are going to get an ATST out, with any certainty. But I will play more with it as well.
This is pretty awesome on Grievous. A better chance of landing his damage with the Focus sides, and the special makes his damage output even scarier.
