So you need to activate, get a discard face on a red die, then play this card. This is situational and only gets less valuable the longer one waits to play it in around.
It seems like a synergy card for Ackbar's ability. If we get more dice with discard sides, we could see a hand-trashing strategy involving this card, Ackbar, and Scout emerge. Right now, it's definitely not doing a lot for you.
