Is this worth it? I'm getting the feeling this is card that looks good, but really isn't.
Depends on the deck, can really slow down some aggro. A smart opponent will resolve dice to trigger it then hit for some more but it can definitely be helpful. It probably has the most place in a mill control deck, you can keep scooping this into your hand with the battlefield. If you can get shield onto the save character and keep them around this is a great stall card.
