Does a modified resource die still work for this card?
no because you can not resolve a modified side without a base said, the card specifically tells you to RESOLVE the resource die. The fun combo I thought with this is in a villain deck with one quarter portion. you can remove a die give them a resource and then "Fair" trade and give yourself more resources lol.
