I tried it on nightmare mode in 2 players game and its really powerful! Let me know in comments what u think about this deck. About non-outlands allies: Denethor is gr8 in 2 hero secrecy deck cause he will never die cause of his negative ability and he is very powerful ally overall, Faramir is just awesome with swarming allies when u need questing, Bill the Pony is free ally for 0 resources and can fuel A very good tale early, same with Dunedain wanderer. Gandalf is mostly for card drawing! Cause the only thing this deck is lacking is card drawing. With that it would have been unbeatable. Gandalf is amazing for that. If in your starting hand you dont have resourceful or steward or gondor and your hand isnt very good you usually want to try the second opening hand, thus increasing a chance of fast start. Strenght of arms will usually ready around 8 outland allies + whatever your teammate has, making it one of the best cards in lategame! Timely Aid usually digs for gandalf to draw 3 cards or whatever ally u need to complete ur company.
I made a similar deck and found that Rivendell Scouts are really nice. They are 0 cost, so you could on the first turn play 2 Rivendell Scouts and/or Bill the Pony for free, then a very good tale to get 2 outlands out (also for free).
I'm missing Tome of Atanatar because I cannot get a hold of Blood of Gondor (Don't like to proxy).
Is there ANYTHING that does a similar thing?
What event card is that you wanna play again?
Being able to repeat any of those events could be good, it just gives you the choice, which is why it's a strong card. If you don't have Tome, I'd suggest putting in Path of Need. It isn't anything like Tome, but it is a fantastic card and well worth the cost. Just put in on a location in the staging area, and then travel there. That round, no hero exhausts to commit to the attack or defend, and during the next turn, no hero exhausts to commit to the quest. Incredibly powerful.
I'd personally trade Denethor for Erestor, who gets you card cycling.
