`But still we will not sit idle and let Him do all as He would,' said Mablung. Rangers of Ithilien leading Sam and Frodo through dangers.

They named themselves Mablung and Damrod, soldiers of Gondor, and they were Rangers of Ithilien; for they were descended from folk who lived in Ithilien at one time, before it was overrun. From such men the Lord Denethor chose his forayers, who crossed the Anduin secretly (how or where, they would not say) to harry the Orcs and other enemies that roamed between the Ephel Dúath and the River.
Lay low, lay traps, destroy enemies in the staging area. Engage with the Faramir deck and use all the advantages. Preferably harm enemy in the SA so it has one HP left, engage him, and then kill it while defending with spearmen or with help of te spear or the citadel. Or use Haldir´s ability to kill enemies before they can attack. Thematic outcast Haldir (well, atleast he is a ranger ;) ) is excellent for this task, boost him with attachments.
Make Faramir a Steward, like he deserves and let the reinforces come.
Many cards can send resources to Damrod deck (or to Faramir to activate Heir)
Hi, I'm quite new to the game, so apologies if this is a basic question, but what is the thinking behind having 2x Anborn allies in each of these decks? I didn't think they could be in play at the same time.

Only thing I'd add here is Send for Aid and Gather Information side quests. I'd also likely trade the Marks for Foe Hammer just to have some draw.
