Dwarves are my favorite race in Warhammer.  I've read several Gotrek and Felix novels, and I went far in Warhammer RPG 1st Edition with a Giant Slayer.  When I saw Daemonslayer, the top of the Slayer food chain, was going to become part of W:I, I was all excited to see what kind of awesome power it would have.  Maybe 3 base power but deals double damage when opposed?  Maybe sacrifice Daemonslayer to destroy all attacking and defending units?  How about deals one damage for every point of combat damage he takes?  This was going to be great.

The reality was I got an average turn 2 Dwarf that could get lots of Toughness over the following turns.

Oh.  Didn't we already have a better version of this in the Iron Breakers of Ankhor?  Couldn't we have gotten something a little more interesting than "hey, man, get lots of Toughness?"
