Really?  You're complaining about this card?  If the opponent plays a deep strike card, you are trading a card and a resource for a card and a resource.  If they don't, it's one shield.  I could see playing this if deep strike cards get out of hand, but at best, it's an even trade?  Is that really something to complain about?

I'd say it is yet another good card for the AM, letting your opponent think they have set up a good trap with their deep strike card in reserve and then as your last move you destroy their well laid plan can put you a head of your opponent tactically, even if this is a fair trade mathematically.

I think denying your opponent some of the great abilities these card do is a fair plus, especial if they pass on deployment to save resources for their deep strike card and then you take it away from them. I'd be paranoid about deep striking any card against AM with this around

1 res to destroy a jump pack or daemon is to good for astra

Unless broken deep strike cards become common (and I'm not seeing any yet) you are probably not running this over that many other great options IG have.

And even then all you are doing is trading 1C1R for 1C1R and knocking them down to 2 such cards in their deck. Assuming you hit the "OP" card you wanted instead of the OK one.

I'll pass for now, might be a thing a lot lot later.

It's not about broken cards, its about stopping your opponent from utilizing some pretty decent tactics like with Sathariel or prince's might. would also be good to destroy a 8th company assault squad before it readies a daring assault squad.

obviously it hasn't got the greatest wealth of targets atm being in the first pack, but it's only going to gain more viability with the other packs coming not long after. it's already a sound tactic and it has a few cards I'd very much like to stop.

I'd say it's not worth putting many in (probably only 1) for a start until more deep strikers arrive, but this card is hardly a write-off
