Enter the Fallen :D

This guy seems pretty hardcore.. Good with all signature events as well as two-shielder recursion, which might make him much harder to kill..

Powers

you sure you don't mean promise of glory at all do you?

great card tho. but, if you deep strike this card at the start of a battle will you then get to use his reaction to resurrect a card?

I think it goes something like this:

1. You check whether it is the first planet or some WL is on it.

2. If yes, battle begins.

2.1. Determine initiative.

2.2. Deep Strike time!

3. Combat begins.

4. Ranged Skirmish. (because you asked for it on another card)

ah fair does, good :) these cards are great then :P

Am I right in thinking that this guy lets you get back multiple events in a single turn?  I.e. you get one back during your turn in the combat phase, you get another back during your opponents turn in the combat phase and repeat back and forth etc until the battle is won?  There's usually a limit to the number of times a turn this can fire on those sort of situations ?

You are correct that he can get back multiple events in a single round, but your examples are incorrect.  A Combat Round is concluded when all units are exhausted and both players pass on actions to bring in additional units.  Then, everyone readies and a new Combat round is started.

So, as long as Sathariel stays alive, and Combat Rounds continue, you can get Power cards out of your discard pile.

Ah good, thought I was missing something as my view was way too overpowered... meant you could ditch a 2 shielder for shields and get it back every swing which didnt make any sense.

Terminology is fun !

Just for clarity, its worth noting that the only usage of a "turn" in Conquest is a combat turn.

The term you're thinking of, of all the phases together, is a game round (or simply a round, as that word without qualification always refers to a game round rather than a combat round).

Thanks for pointing out the lazy wording on my part Asklepios. I have edited my response to drop the term "turn" for "round".

Remember it's just Chaos Power events.  So no reoccurring Archon's Terror, Backlash or Promise Of Glory.

This is the current list: Cacophonic Choir, Doombolt, Ecstatic Seizure, Fetid Haze, Infernal Gateway, Tzeentch's Firestorm, Warp Rift and Warpstorm.

That's not bad by any means.  Reoccuring the two shield Warp Rift or Tzeentch's Firestorm is pretty cool.  Also what Ku'gath player wouldn't love to get their Fetid Hazes back.
