This works vs Warlords - that's a massive thing in its favour. 2 for 1/1/3 is just about OK, and none loyal makes this a very easy pick in a Chaos Elites deck (such things don't really need Ammo Depot as they tend to have more cards).

Was thinking the same thing since it's any unit. Think it gives kabalite strike forces abit more value since an AoE opener would be good to get the damaged units rolling

Kabalite Harriers are great for that. So is Warpstorm.

And there is always Atrox Prime, though you that requires a bit of forethought on your part.

So what's happening, if Elite resolves AE, while supplicant is present?

damaged units can't use shields, and hale can? Does it work like this?

Essentially no: already-damaged enemy units would not be able to be shielded from an AoE by the attacking Elite unit you control, while undamaged enemy units could still be shielded by your opponent. This is possible because of the wording, which says attacking, meaning AoE is valid since the unit using its AoE ability is considered to be attacking.

However, the AoE attacking unit isn't attacking "a damaged enemy unit" specifically, so no.

You are 'attacking', but you aren't 'attacking a damaged enemy unit', because you do not declare defenders.

nevermind, lol I just reread the supplicants text. It's kind of fuzzy, both on my phone and how aoe/armorbane work
