Man, this card is so damn good.
while most consider this as great because of the deploy stall, I love it for the "bait and switch" plays it enables.
Its pretty much great for everything, deploy stall is just an unnecessary added bonus on top of what it already enables. Swapping around command units to win struggles, stalling, moving combat units from HQ back out to planets ready to fight, Webway does it all.
It affects Command because you switch units so you win command. For example you have a 1 hammer unit, your opponent deploys a 2 hammer unit opposite it. You use Webway to swap your 1 hammer for a 3 hammer.
Whilst it's not a combat trick, being able to swap a Wildrider Vyper in HQ for a Biel Tan Guardian at Planet 2 is going to have a serious impact on Combat once it happens.
If it was an any phase action it would be redonkulous, buts still pretty versatile in its Deploy Action form.
This card is amazing , it gets the Eldar game to a new level. For example you can constantly get your Wildrider with DDS back to Planet 2 to swoop in on Planet 1 every turn.
Does the action count as the units are moved for cards that can react on move for example wildrider vyper?
No movement involved
5 star card. If not for the word "depploy action" it would been OP
