Okay ... what is the theme deck here around Khymera?
Beasthunter Wyches
Hunting Ground
Masked Hunter
Run Down
+ Creatures like Corrupted Clawed Fiend, Stalking Ur-Ghul, and Uber Grotesque
janky, the theme deck is janky.
In theory you should be able to manage your resource of token creatures to gain consistant small advantages against your opponent.
Like the other three token strategies, you want to swarm an opponents unit and kill them with your multiple attacks per round. Dies to area effect. The Orks generate the snotlings as a bonus fodder, the AM have a consistent source of tokens generally, Chaos really just look at cultists as demons in larva form, so Khymera are supposed to be the tactical strike. The hunting pack that you want to protect, and then unleash.
I will totally build a Kith deck around all this...it will be refreshingly fun, and pretty bad all at the same time.
Too bad the only way FFG knows how to move Kith forward is giving her all these janky cards that revolve around Khymera tokens. First of all, Kith + sig units is often enough to get the tokens out en mass. Second, decks that depend on Khymera tokens get taken out easily with decks with AOE. Not worth the trouble at all.
There're also Beasthunter Wyches, which not only are weaker, but also require a more dedicated deck.
Ignoring Promise of Glory, Snotling Attack and the Battlewagon, of course
The worst thing about the Beasthunter Wyches is that not only is the condition "play an event", but the token then gets put into the HQ and still requires another resource. Given every useful event costs more than 0 (other than Gut and Pillage) it's just too expensive to trigger
