A powerful ability, surely. On a planet with a large battle looming, this army unit can be an excellent bearer of most attack boosting attachments with a few other units ready by its side.

I really like how the designers named these guys as 'Prudent' because it seems to work both ways - the owner must play it prudently for it to be effective enough to make a difference, and the opponent must be prudent as well in finding a way to deal with it.

However, it does obviously require some degree of combo play and as such it might not become a stable outside Shadowsun just now. The lack of a command hammer also makes it unfit for the Ethereal Wisdom --> Kauyon Strike approach in an Aun'shi setup, though having it on the first planet with two Gun Drones attached could prove slightly challenging for the opponent.

Love these for Shadowsun. I know the lack of command is an issue but the number of cheap command cappers Tau have (drones, etc) gets around that). With Stealth Cadre, Gun Drones, Rifle, etc on the board it could just make such a headache to get rid of, and gets around the constant worry with Shadowsun of having too many eggs in one basket. Will certainly find space for 2 of them.

If this unit dies, can you trigger the Elysian Assault Team trigger first and then put this unit's attachments on the EAT? Both cards have the same interrupt window, so it seems like it would work, but wanted to make sure.

Assuming EAT is an eligible unit for all the attachments, yes, that timing works.
