Doubt this will be of much use to the current warlords since it has 0 command, but for the new genestealer warlord it will for the most part be a eager recruit with +1hp.
Not bad but not great either.
Wow, your standards are really high if an Eager Recruit with +1 hp is not bad but not great.
Edit: I know, I know. It is dependent on infestation, but with Subject Omega, infestation is what makes your deck work, so you have to do it anyway. I agree, I don't see playing this guy in Swarmlord or Old One Eye.
Well yes for subject omega it's a nice combat boost, it does however not have the same flexibility as eager recruit. But yes for Omega it's a nice card but the infestation does stop it's utility.
Maybe I'm a bit harsh to calling it not great but I feel that this along with alot of tyranid cards just barely get the value of other factions cards if you can keep a strong infestation game going, wich isn't always easy.
There are tools for easy infestation like Spore Chimneys. If they haven't seen play so far is because OOE and Swarmlord don't really gain much from Infestation. In Omega's case, it's an integral part of his gameplay.
Will obviously have to test and see for myself, but I think it's safe to assume that Omega will be able to keep key planets infested consistently.
