Will this replace the Ymgarl or Harpy in a Nid deck?I'm not too sure..

I wouldn't say it's a direct replacement, but it's a very nice alternative for sure, and I like that. They fill different roles and require different conditions to be met to unleash their true potential.

True its not a direct replacement but it can be controlled by an opponent for sure. 1 shield and it wont ready plus it needs to kill an army units and not tokens. Maybe in a Elite Nid deck,

It could get better with a future Nid warlord, we don't know.

The reason this guy will be pretty good is that Nids have a lot of little option to help it out. No Mercy being the big one of course, but there's a few other cards that will help this guy out as well.

HVC or No Mercy > Maw, though Indom is a pain. Kith isn't too bad for it at all, much easier to chain the kills, ways to deal with Klaivex. Terror will happen, but you'll still have your unit for the future. Ymgarl, Harpy and Ravener all have different strengths - Ymgarl is an excellent Warlord killer, Harpy is for control/survival but needs set up, Ravener wipes hordes (especially those that come in tapped in a warlord train), but also needs adequate support.

I've actually been pairing these guys with Noxious Fleshborers and Acid Maws in a Subject deck - while it's an expensive set up I often find myself with the resources to pay for it, and the nature of the deck means that the Fleshborers will almost always be performing. If nothing else they make for a big target that soaks up fire for my more fragile Genestealers.

This card is brutal with the Brood Chamber support if you can copy someone's Ranged ability. If the opponent has no shields and a lot of 1-2 health units, you can mow all of them down. But probably super-situational. Anyone had any luck with this combo?

I keep trying to use Brood Chamber, but it's such a useless card 80% of the time. If you have people in your local meta who play a lot of ranged, Area Effect, or armorbane it might be worth 1-2 copies, but otherwise it's total dead weight because if you draw it vs a deck without keywords (or worse, an elite deck with nasty non-keyword effects) there are so many other cards that would be better (and usually have shields). All too often Brood Chamber is just a deploy stall, which is a huge waste of card space.
