Hm, I'm not sure about these. Their biggest weakness might be the nasty Ally trait, but they do enhance the idea of running Accept any Challenge.. Perhaps the same can be said of The Black Sword as well.

And they will fit into a Drop Pod of course.

But how they might overtake BAVs or librarians in the Drop Pod queue on the Strike Cruiser in orbit is less clear at this moment.

They also work with Apprentice. And they give card - draw.

I believe these will soon replace void pirates in Black templar decks.

I think they could have a place in a mavros deck. Certainly not in a cato or ragnar build. The ally trait is bad News, the effect is good. I would Play them instead of Honored Libs if they would be 3 Strength

with so many ways to kill librarian now and in necrons, I think they will be a 2 of in my deck and just run 1 librarian.

Wasn't sure about these but now I think about it... 4 HP works nicely for the Marvos 1-damage-ping mechanic.

Yeah, I don't have the pack yet, but the first thing I'm going to try is swapping out my Libby's for 3 of these. He's got a bigger butt, can be pumped by mavros to equal Libby, the cenobyte servitor can play on him, black sword is a great play on him, can be pulled with the neophyte, still a 3 cost unit for DPA, and he helps accept the challenge. Yes, your losing a lot with the Libby but all the other stuff might make up for it. We'll see.

I think I'd still always go for Primal Howl over Accept The Challenge unless they eventually produced enough cards for an all-Templars build.

Neophyte is interesting. I still can't decide if it's good value, and I'm sure we were all hoping for a 4-drop BT, but this guy certainly has possibilities if you can spring him in for a Vow of Honor

Yeah, I too still think primal howl is better and left it in the deck.. Its actually the least important black templars synergistic card imo, but maybe i'm an idiot.  I think the key is going to be how reliable the neophyte combo is for me on whether he sticks or not.  He's the best target for the black sword other than the emperors champion i think, and I really like the black sword in a swarm meta.

yea not to bad of a card for mavros, wouldn't put this in any other deck really, but works with drop pod, Neophyte and is an extra unit for accept any challenge. personally I do agree that accept any challenge is still abit naff at the moment until they release more units, but hey, we're getting there.

3/5 for me I'd say
