So this card is straight up worse than the Flayed Skull Slaver? Not only does it have 1 less hp, it maintains the ally keyword and has less useful keywords. Pretty disappointed in this one.

Garbage.  No reason he couldn't have had 3 HP to match Flayed Skull Slaver (who will usually be played with a rebate).

With you on that. The Skrap Nabba has, I think, proven itself a reasonable include for Orks, but 3 cost is too high for a card that is meant to enhance your command struggle.

Unless a future warlord has some serious Scout synergy, this is going to be staying in the binders. The only use I can see is for a desperate SM player that really wants more money generation, but even then it isn't the best idea

Here is a purposefully inferior card compared to others with the same effect.

I guess it's payback for giving Vior'la Marksman +1HP versus Ratling Deadeye? Otherwise I don't know. Maybe Kaloo is right and we'll see a warlord that uses scouts (like the Necrons, but then makes more use out of them).

Considering that the spoiler text has 3 HP in it, I think I agree with the other person that said it's likely a misprint, but one that probably won't get corrected.

What spoiler text are you referring to?

Look up at the card image, scan to the right where it shows the card details.

Why would you view the text in the deck-builder as being more accurate than the actual card?

It's not "more accurate".  The card is what it is, and at this point it's the spoiler text that is inaccurate.  But it leads me to believe that the card was a mistake because a) there's no real reason for the Tau unit to be strictly worse than the DE unit that does the same thing, and b ) it seems likely that the spoiler text was loaded from an advance spreadsheet rather than from visual inspection of the cards.  That said, it could also be a last-second nerf for some unknown reason.  Or maybe it is a transcription error, who knows.  Just saying that someone suggested it might have been accidental, and the difference between the card and the spoiler text lends credence to that.

(Sentimental Marine) It may be that "scout" key word would be used with more positive effects in future. Consider for instance a zero cost Support Card which reads: "Whenever you deploy a card with Scout keyword you may draw a card."

Additionally we must keep in mind that Tau cards interact with a different card pool than DE.

"Patience" is a Tau virtue. ;-)

I know Necrons are gonna have a few nice tricks that will interact with units with the Scout keyword, the Tomb Blade squadron is an example, and the Necrons benefit from some non-Necron cards, so could be potential for including this in with Necrons.

It is still rather expensive for what it does tho :L just have to use that Tau patience and see how it goes, but for now this card is rather naff
