Lots of fantastic synergy for Tau decks when paired with Ambush Platform and Repair Bay. Just keep pulling those Gun Drones and Stealth Cadres out of the discard pile and reattach. Lather. Rinse. Repeat. 4/5.
Works great with Earth caste technician and promotions
I have alot of time for this guy in my Shadowsun build, but honestly can't see it seeing a huge amount of play in Aun'shi or our upcoming Shas'O warlord. It's still a very compelling card for Tau, and has great synergies alongside Ambush Platform, Even the Odds, and the new Repair Bay...although I feel Tau Army units outside of Shadowsun builds are already competitively spaced.
I'd give this guy a 3.5 in a heartbeat, with a solid 4 for a Shadowsun build. Can't wait to drop an ion rifle on this guy :L
