Excellent deck! Currently run the same build, altough I did go 51 cards and added another Rangers for no real reason.
I think 50 is where it should be at aswell. This deck deserves to win. Warlock Destructor in full effect.
5/5
5/5 for the swag of this deck
How is Enpower used in this deck? Is it used mainly a 2 shield card or for its effect? I really can't decide is that card good or not. Paying 3 is much even though effect is good, especially in late game.
Both. If you'd see 3 Empowers every game 2 would be used as Shield cards and 1 as a lategame finisher. Note: Eldorath also becomes a 2/8 because of Empower, which is often enough to ensure lategame battles are won.
Great list but I feel there could be room for a small amount of RT's/VP's for deploy stalls.
Why? The best thing about the Eldar/Tau allience is that you get the best 1 drops in the game allready. Nice as the RT's and VP's are in many cases they are there because you dont have something better available for Cost 1.
I'll tell ya why!
Because you typically want to put Marksman at an early planet you need to win..ditto with Bork'an recruits. ECT is great but doesn't stack over the turns.
I'm not saying this deck is bad, just that I feel it's not quiiiiite where Eldorath needs to be for command.
Not really Hoop, putting the Marksmen where the profit is still is the better choice in many cases. Gaining the extra Resource or extra Card out of Trader/Pirate is nice. But putting your opponent on the edge is even better.
Deployment, in special for this deck. Is key to succes. There can be many situations where either the Ranged unit or Bork'an Recruits are better put on non-first planets. Initiative is also key for Eldorath.
How many core sets do you need to make this deck? I don't seem to have the right number of some of those cards from just one set...
3 CS sadly
I'm thinking about trying out this deck. Sorry if this is a hassle but could you describe the general combos and strategy for this deck? Thanks a ton!
