Did you ever user Spore burst for anything other then shields?

I used 1-2 times during the league. It is definitely not strong as gift of issue or drop pod, but it is 2 shield card. For instance, I am not able to play Heavy Venom Cannon at all because I don't have Elite units in this deck.

What was your experience with Soaring Gargoyles? I am sure you did not play them for the Hive Mind ability, but their high survivability. How did they play out for you?

I think it is a decent combat unit. It doesn't have command icon, but comparing with Scything Hormagaunts 2/2 vs 2/3 flying - it is huge difference. Also sometimes it helps to shield termagants.

Thanks for the decklist! I'm interested to see that you don't run any elites, or really anything that can swing for more than 3. Do you think that ever hurt you? You also don't run any Dark Cunning, and aside from No Mercy, the deck really has no surprises.

Also, out of curiosity, which were your hardest match-ups? With Clogged, you probably had at least a decent time versus Worr decks.

Regarding Dark Cunning My idea was to use all decent tyranid units + to not be vulnerable vs control(I don't have elites). Tyranid faction currently has only one 1 for 1, but has strong 2 and 3 cost units. That's why economically it's undesirable to play this event - ussially I can play Lurking Hormagaunt instead of Dark Cunning - it can win command, take the attack, and probably hit several times. That's why i have a lot of shields and 0 cost events - just to be able to play units that I have.

Regarding Elites I think sometimes it's too risky to use it. For example, AM can have: Supressive Fire,  Captain Markis ,  The Emperor’s Warrant,  Inquisitorial Fortress. I tried to build stable deck.

Harderst match is space marines. This deck doesn't have control + I am not able to deal with Honored Librarian.

Spawn Termagants is not just fuel for Clogged with Corpses, sometimes I play it as event, especially if I don't see Tarrus. But it is ok to have 2  Spawn Termagants  and 3 No Mercy.

Regarding Clogged with Corpses i agree that efficiency depends on enemy deck, but each game it's nice to have several 1 shield cards to shield. Sometimes I play No Mercy and  Ferocious Strength and using  Clogged with Corpses as  a shields, and vice versa.
