Moving up in the world refers to me and not Cato. I have thus far only played 8 games of Conquest, 7 with Shadowsun and 1 with Zarathur. I have unfortunately lost them all (although Zarathur was close and came down to a misclick on my warlord location dial in OCTGN - duh!).

I am therefore moving on to Warlord number 2 in my search for a Warlord to play as I develop my knowledge of the game. As I am super excited for Chaplain Mavros (I really like Black Templars in the miniatures game) I decided to try my hand at Space Marines (despite also enjoying Zarathur).  

Looking around it seems that most Cato decks ally with Tao. I've instead opted for AM; maybe not optimal but I like the durability of the Sanctioned Psyker as another option to sit at a planet with a Librarian. Catachan Outpost also adds a nice bit of spike damage.

The other, I guess, strange choice are the Imperial Fists Siege Force rather than the tactical squad. Well I already have some AOE from the assault squad (although, admittedly, at a higher price) and being able to trump guardians/void pirates/rogue traders in command on deploy is nice. Again, maybe not optimal, but 2/1/2/2 seems reasonable. 

Anyways, comments and criticisms welcome. Obviously don't want all Cato decks in the world to be the same, but do you think this is a reasonable deck to play a few games with and to get to know SM with?
