Interesting setup HidaHonk. If I may ask, how are you finding those Prototype Crisis Suits? They seem a little excessive with a mere seven attachments (and three Technicians too.) Do you ever experience getting all the way through your deck with these so you start to draw cards in the order you've placed them in?
Not even that Skyknight, since the Crisis suits can only target 6 of those attachments (Tau only) and I personally don't think they are viable unless they have at least 12 targets.
Additionally, if you see the Tempest Blade before the STC do you plan to play it or keep it for shields, since it would prevent the STC from being able to be played?
Thx for the comments. It is a prototype. First testings were ok. The deck strongly depends on STC. I would always Play STC over Tempest Blade in this deck. Withouth STC, the deck is far weaker. The Prototypes were a positive suprise, however I played the deck only about 15 times (11:4). My key Point is to find a SM deck that can hold its own against the changing meta.
I've been reluctant to try the Crisis Suits myself except maybe in a potential Shadowsun setup with Tau attachment mayhem, so It's interesting to see it used here.
I agree with Kaloo that one would probably need more Tau attachments to make the Prototype Suit viable. Good point about the Relic problem too - I didn't notice that at first. I know it's not exactly a brilliant card, but have you considered Blacksun Filter in lieu of the STCs? I considered that card some weeks ago for a Ragnar bully deck (my first Ragnar deck ever) trying to do some outside of the box thinking, as I thought it might work nicely coupled with Primal Howl. As well as being a small stall of course. It didn't make the deck, but I still find the idea intriguing
Nice idea regarding a SM deck that's viable in the changing meta. Which changes to the meta do you consider tough for Cato/SM?
Interesting points, but I'm still not convinced with the Prototypes. Have you considered dropping the Prototypes and switching to Mavros? -3 Prototype with +1 Sword Dreadnaught seems like a decent switch given that The Emperor's Champion is a much better elite than the Prototype with no risk of the signature attachment becoming useless. Sure Cato's ability helps you make more money, but +1 resource a round from Cato command sniping isn't that big a deal for an expensive deck. Additionally, the Sword Dreads become a lot better since you can trigger their abilities on demand, and Tense Negotiations (another card worth considering) becomes a little better since Mavros has more hp to survive being exhausted, should it matter.
The strong dependence on the STC is worrying, since it all but guarantees a loss without it. Have you considered running 3 to help find it? Maybe take a Wroth as well to balance out should it be required (along with then considering No Mercy if you do decide to switch to Mavros). Additionally, Calculated Strike might be a decent include to protect against the elite mirror since it gives your economy more time to set up than theirs.

I know that's a lot of suggestions, and it's unlikely that they'll all be useful together, but that's my thoughts
I think Cato loses against the new wave of elite decks. The inclusion of 3 x calculated strikes helps the deck. Still, if you do not draw them early, you normally get overpowered with larger better elite units. Nazdreg Chaos decks are especially strong. I think the switch to mavros is a very good idea. The dependence on STC is really worrying however. Thanks for all the feedback guys!
