Went to the tournament with a last minute change, i added 3 Murder of Razowings.
In the current meta i strugled alot with my controlish and choke game play, games were usually drawn till late planets, which allowed decks that required several cards on the board to work, to take easy wins against me.
So i went to the tour with a different attitude but not a different deck. Aimed to disrupt early game instead of going full choke/control.
Swiss 5-0
Round 1 - vs Aun'shi
Muliganed in a mediocre hand, he mulliganed as well, but into an orbital city.
Went even on command, i commited to 1st on my initiave, with a unit there as well. Won the planet due to number advantage.
Deployed a Syren at 2nd planet, won that one aswell, moved her to the 3rd planet, opponent saved resources for Prelate, i routed his only unit , saved Syren , Prelate came exhausted. 3 planet win.
Round 2 - vs Chaplain Mavros
He kicked my ass a day before at practice , so i was kinda prepared of what to expect.
He run a deck with focus on planet triggers, with Sword Brethren Dreadnought and Tense Negotiations.
Kept a mediorce hand only because i had a foretell, which payed off.
He deployed Sword Brethren Dreadnought on Plannum (2nd Planet) and commited to 1st.
I won 3 struggles he won none, Foretelled his move attempt. Won 1st planet.
Went all in to kill his Dreadnought on 2nd planet while i denied him an many resources as possible. Killed his units , won the planet but got Kith bloodied. He triggered Atrox Prime and killed my warlord train though.
Forfeited the 3rd planet , and went for 4th, had shield superiority (used all of his to trigger Atrox Prime last round). 4 planet win
Round 3 - vs Kith
Mirror, started with Razorwings and Pact, i denied him cards , he denied me resources. Back to back commits to planet 1, 3 planet win.
Round 4 - vs Worr
First 4 planets were green, stuck to my plan for early win although i knew it would be hard. Won 1st planet with a Warlock Destructor vs a Signature of his, since i had the 3 shield on my hand.
2nd planet was Iridial he miscaluted his damage with Troop Transport and Elyssian, Kith didnt die, healed up. And basically game was over, 3 planet win.
Round 5 - vs Worr
Only 2 green planets and yet another early win setup. 1-2-4 were the planets i needed.
Heavy command hand, but with no palace/den. Managed to hold a good choke for the first 2 rounds while abusing the good 1 v 1 of kith.
He couldnt fully recover before 4th planet, won the battle at the end, and the game.
Top 8 vs Kith
Opened with Den , he opened with Palace. He tried to resource choke me, thus allowed me to draw some much needed cards.
Preserved my Khymeras, and went for a 3 Planet win, before his choke became unbearable.
Top 4 vs Worr (Swiss Round 4 Opponent)
Discarded 1 of his command units, got an uncontested 1st planet, and i commited to planet 3 to snipe his Steel Legion Khymera, he tried to trigger Plannum to save it but i Foretelled. After that i kept him at low unit count and eventually won the game.
Final vs OOE
Most experienced Tyranid player, with a deck i have little chances against if it starts rolling.
The first 4 planets were Green and i had to delay his elite deploy as much as possible.
We both muliganed and both got pretty bad hands. Used a suffering on his Lurking Hornagaunt at planet 1, which allowed me to win with my warlord. He tried to trigger Tarrus but i had a Foretell ready.
He passed his deploy at 2nd round, and i only got a Destructor off on 1st planet. I was anticipating an elite deploy next round. Won 2nd planet.
He deploys a Ymgarl Genestealer at 1st planet and attaches a Regenaration and a Heavy Venom Cannon to it. I went for some card chasing during command in hope of an Archon's Terror with no luck.
His commit made it obvious that he had Backlash in hand, i went on and used my Klaivex anyway, and he got executed, which was a major missplay from my side, since i only needed the 3 dmg attack to win the game and shouldnt have triggered his Reaction.
He moves the genestealer to next planet and things start looking grim. I pass only deploying a single command unit, and kept as many shields as possible for a hope to save my khymera army from the AoE of Ymgarl Genestealer. Barely saved enough units to kill Ymgarl Genestealer before he attacks a second time, and slowly killed OOE aswell. He chose to not bring Lictor to the fight , which costed him the game, since i won by a single shield difference.
Overall Murder of Razorwings proved a valuable addition, even if i didnt focus on card choke. Along with Foretell they gave me enough room early game, to just go for fast wins.

Excellent player , and a well deserved victory. This guy was something like my mentor when i started playing since i was also playing kith and he had some experience with it.
It was a good game with mistakes from both sides, since we where rather tired and the stupid A/C was not working all day with 40 decrees you can imagine the fatigue.
Well done my friend, we will meet again on Nationals.
Grats man !!! My kith will get her revenge in the Nationals ...!!!
