Ku'gath Aggro

Cool deck, I would personally drop the Helldrake's however, add Khorne Berserkers and also would try to drop the Rogue Traders for Flesh Hounds, it will allow you to go deeper into the battle and Flesh Hounds are able to attrition out a whole lot of units.

Currently.

Yay!  Another Ku'gath deck!  Mine was getting lonely!

I like the look of the deck, it looks pretty solid overall.  I find the inclusion of Rune-Crusted Armor an odd choice.  Who do you normally equip it to?  My personal feelings of the card is the best target is Khorne Berzerker, but you aren't running those in the deck.

I really like your deck :)

I definitely would love to see Khorne Berserkers as well.  They are so good for Kul'Gath (ironic since they introduce a version of Khorne Berserkers with the Nurgle keyword and Berserkers are still better).  Maybe cut Rogue Traders for them?  You already have 9 1 drops with command icons to help with the early command game.

I'm not a fan of Flesh Hounds- there's not a whole lot of matchups where I'd be happier having a Flesh Hound than a Heldrake.  If I'm sacrificing Cultists to put the Flesh Hound into play, I have fewer left for healing him, and he's not as good during the Command struggle as a Heldrake (and command struggles seem to be a challenge for Chaos).

I do like the idea of adding Berzerkers though.  That's not something I had considered.  Hmmm...

So, the armors have actually gone on a lot of things, strangely.  I had a Nurgling at a crucial planet in my first game that it went on to protect him from a Warpstorm, I've used it to keep Xaveas safer for big turns..... but yeah, I definitely think adding Berzerkers will make it a much more useful card.  I can't believe I missed including them!

Great advice, and yeah- I'm really surprised I missed including them.  Eesh.

And the Rogue Traders have been replaced with Berzerkers.  I'll give them a try, and see how it goes :)

Looks much better allready, granted I still think you would favour the consistancy of playable cards with switching the Heldrakes for Flesh Hounds.

You might be right.  I don't particularly like the Flesh hounds... but I would be foolish to not at least try them out.    I'll try the deck out with them and with the Heldrakes.

Fun note though- this deck easily played the Heldrake out of hand my last game.... and had the ability to play the second one had I drawn it.

Only great to hear you can play the Heldrakes. I have to admit, my games go closer and quicker. Often leading to situations where I dont have a maximum ammount of resources but do have enough cards and board position to seal the deal. Only Eldar thus far have been really able to punish that with Doom (as expected).

The great thing about the Flesh Hounds over the Helldrake is that often both bodies are able to attrition long enough to matter. IF not we're often talking about direct removal and neither is save against it. For sure the Heldrake remains superior in terms of body but games where you have few cards and few resources it's easier to sit on 1 and have a Flesh Hound available next turn (rather than do nothing).
