Mono-Faction Eldar Deck

I think Shouded Harlequin could be more powerful than in your original assessment.

The ability isn't limited on which enemy unit it can target, meaning, you can exhaust the enemy warlord.  This prevents the warlord from retreating the rest of the combat round, opening them up to a barrage of attacks if you have a lot of enemy units there.

Also, it could also mean that an eldar survivalist remains at full health for when it gets redeployed, as they are the primary source of resources and cards for this deck.

Definitely an interesting deck, I might have to take it for a spin.

Nullify - I agree that you probably want 3 of these in the deck, but I think you are missing part of the text.  You mention that all Tau decks would want 3 of these, but a Tau faction deck can't use the card since it requires you to exhaust an unique Eldar unit.  I also don't understand why you think it is a must include in Eldar/Tau, but not in  Eldar/Dark Eldar.

I feel that you should revisit the Shrouded Harlequin.  If they kill it early in a battle then that is perfect.  It's them killing it with their last attack that you need to worry about.  This means that you can save it back and only attack with it when all of the best targets for exhausting are already exhausted.

You are definitely underestimating Superiority if you think no competitive decks will include it.  It has a lot of utility.  It can be used to help you win a command struggle, prevent an opponent from winning a command struggle, or discarded for it's shields.  It is a solid all around card.

Since Corsair Trading Port is unique, I would recommend doing one of two things.  Either switch one copy out for a second promethium mine, or take promethium mine out altogether.  I feel Promethium mine is a bit of an underrated card, but there isn't a lot of benefit in having one in the deck.  You could trade it out for another Foresight or promotion.

I like your idea here.  I have not thought of the prospect of exhausting the Warlord.  (I think this is mostly due to many of the cards affecting army units which cause me to overlooked the idea of affecting the Warlord.)  And thanks for pointing out the fact that by exhausting the Warlord, he/she will not be able to retreat (until the the end of the combat) which will make him vulnerable to be bloodied or defeated.

You are correct on Nullify.  I realise this when I started playing Eldar and saw the text on the card that you need to exhaust a unique Eldar unit to pay the cost for its effect.  My friend has played wrongly earlier on as he used Nullify without exhausting any unique Eldar character.

With regard to the last paragraph, I have been mulling on putting in just one copy of Corsair Trading Port and include an additional Promethium mine.

However, I have a question here.  Are we allowed to put in an additional Foresight into the deck?  I thought the number of copies of signature cards is fixed.

Just want to pick your thoughts, if you are to include 2x Superiority and 3x Shrouded Harlequin, what other cards will you take out and why?

Would you swap 2x Banshee Power Sword with 2x Superiority?  I personally find Banshee Power Sword to be "meh" as it only add +1 Attack.  I don't find the ability that useful as you are required to discard cards from your hand to boost the attack value.  From one of my game, my friend dumped 4 cards from his hand to make sure that my unit would die.  Unfortunately, I play a shield card to prevent my unit from leaving play. My friend lost his tempo and subsequent lost the game.

Would you have the 6 cost Wailing Wraithfighter in your deck as it is expensive to play (unless you can win the battle on Carnath) ?  Do you think the effect of this unit in terms of forcing the opponent to discard card is useful?

Oops, good catch I don't know what I was thinking!  You cannot put another Foresight into the deck.

As for the Corsair Trading Port and Promethium mine, two copies of CTP isn't necessarily bad since it increases the chance of you getting one early.  It's the one copy of Promethium mine that is the bigger issue since you want to draw one early.  It's why I recommend either increasing it to two or removing it.

I would trade 2x banshee power sword for 2x superiority.  Banshee sword is nice and does allow for the occasional surprise warlord kill, but I typically find it more useful in a Tau deck than in an Eldar deck.  Superiority has a lot more utility to it than Banshee Sword.

For the Shrouded Harlequins I would remove the Wailing Wraithfighters.  It's a neat card and hard to kill, but in my experience it is not worth the 6 cost.  You could also consider removing a Craftworld gate.  It's a good card, but I don't know if it's worth including x3.
