Necrons
Combo Control
Nahumekh, who is seen as the Jankier of the warlords in LEGIONS OF DEATH, may have some hidden consistency. here is my who and why.
Warlord
Order by: NameTypeCost
Total Cards: 0
EVENTS x3] Drudgery: I like this one, even though its limited. If I am reading this correctly, it allows you to get around the enslavement dial so it can either an ambush style unit drop or used to up your faction count. x3] Reanimation Proto: Since most 2 shield necron cards either give all Necrons bonuses or are attachments for necron units, this becomes a sort of shield. SUPPORTS x1] STC frag. x6 Elites with the chance to play them multiple times. x1] Timeworn Stasis-Crypt. From what I can tell, this deck runs in the fashion of I'll play 1 necro unit and one *Blank* should always get use out of this card if pulled. x3] Sautekh Complex. Maybe could have just 2, but these area must in Nahumehk.
UNITS Just going to summarize here. Canopek spiders get a use out of unit cards that are not on your enslavement dial, so a good add, and can get some things in your discard, which can be helpful at times. APC and Reavers are both cheap vehicles, so they have play on their own as well as with the doom scythe, again getting around the enslavement dial. Inquisitor will see a lot of necron play, i imagine, since discard will almost certainly hurt them more then you, and even with minimal recursion, that's still true here. Harbringer only has 3 events to pull from, but I'd love to see them all again.
Sample Hand:
Total Shields: 0
Average Shields Per Event/Attachment: 0
Total Command: 0
Average Command Per Unit: 0
Reavers are good, but the scythe gets around the enslavement dial, to keep my faction count up. I also want hem to be cheap enough that I can play them from my hand without having to end my turn to do so.
I'm afraid you're wrong, from the rules: "Following the standard deployment rules and any card text, the Necrons player is permitted to deploy or put into play unit cards from his enslaved faction in addition to the Necrons and neutral cards he can normally deploy or play. Units from non-enslaved factions, other than Necrons or neutral units, cannot enter play that round under the Necrons player's control."
You cannot use drudgery or canoptek spider to get around the enslavement dial
Okay after experimenting with my ranged Necron deck I can see how this deck can be used. There has to be a lot of fore thought....I'm gonna build it and try it out, thanks for the post.
(although I might add a few more shield cards).

Seems like you're purposedly including subpar vehicles to justify the inclusion of Doom Scythes.
Desperately needs more shields.
