OOE Infest No Mercy Sheilding

Question, what are you gaining by using Termagant Sentries?  Not a lot of Termagant tokens in this deck so this card looks suboptimal.

Scything Hormagants might be a better unit.  They cost one more but they help you with your "infest" strategy IMO.

A few tweaks I'd suggest:

-1 Venom Cannon, +1 Promotion. (for command boost)

-1 Shrieking Harpy, +1 Termagant Sentry. (for command boost and cost curve)

-1 Dark Cunning, +1 Fall Back, (for end game play to keep your big units alive, for the synapse unit if you have to)

Finally, those last 2 Shrieking Harpies: I have a lot of love for this 6-cost, and consider it one of the best elites around. However, it is infestation dependent so can be hard to time right, despite the power of its effect.

I'd consider experimenting with 2 Ymgarl Genestealers instead. They're cheaper, and when you're not using SWP, they're pretty easy to get to 6/6 when you need them to be. They also synergise very well with No Mercy, because aside from Klaivex and Fury there's not many ways they can be killed before they attack, and 6 with armourbane scares the hell out of 90% of warlords. Against DE or Cato your six (or five if you take my suggestions) 2-shielder should likely be saved to be used as 2-shielders always, so you can protect Ymgarl from the nibble attack that would open the way for Klaivex.

Old One Eye does lack easy access to swarm and elite control, but thats a systemic concern. Brood Chamber is one answer to swarm control, but too inconsistent. So basically, you have to play your game rather than answer the opponent's game, but thats ok, that can work well.

@ Asklepios - To be fair Shrieking Harpy on initiative and infestation is an answer to both swarm and elites. Though I agree consistency is an issue and I'm currently torn between using a mini-infestation module or going down the Ymgarl route myself (which for me would also allow me to switch out one or both of the Scything Hormagaunts and Virulent Spore Sac for Tyrannic Warriors and something else - though part of what holds me back is the lack of good something elses). Heavy Venom Cannon is also an answer to swarm/big elites, though again you have to get it out and stay alive (and in the above deck it can only go on the Harpies who are already an answer...)

As for the deck, I suggest upping the Termagant Sentry count. If it doesn't cause your brain to explode, might also be worth experimenting with the Venomthrope Polluter - still has one hammer and along with its ability can even steal the odd command that the Lictor actually can't. Unlike the Lictor, can really mess with battle maths and opposition commitments too. I'm currently using it without the Hunter Gargoyles as I wanted stronger command, but with them you've got another threat that can't be fully predicted.

Also not a fan of Predation as it requires you to infest a planet before it works, and you have only 9 sources of infestation, of which only 3 are guarantees. If you want more infestation I'd prefer to use a Spore Chimney, or a Noxious Fleshborer (the latter lets the Harpy do the infesting itself).

I have been experimenting with the following

-1 Predation

-1 Shrieking Harpy

-1 Heavy Venom Cannon

+1 Promotions

+2 Noxious Fleshborer

So far, enjoying it a lot. I was able to beat a very good Cato, although he did end up beating me next game.

@Asklepios I do think you underrate the harpy. And Fleshborer is must more useful than I had originally believed.

Fleshborer was incredible last game attached to a Gargoyle. Infestation of the planets was easily done by Scything Hormagaunts, Predation, and Venomthropes, laying ground for two harpies to seal the deal in advance.

Zoanthrope is a really good Synapse unit here, as it helps you win that command struggle with venomthropes, then deal 2 dmg to the infested planet. If you put fleshborer on a venomthrope , that infests the planet first, then gets you one more resource/card as the next reaction. Great synergy
