Ragnar Competitive - Work in Progress

so it's basically kingsley's list -1 BAV -1 DAS / +2 Bikers.

Which is a very reasonable substitution in my mind. You marginally increase DPA acuracy, but sacrifice a little anti-swarm control.

Current meta in mind, however, I would recommend Kingsley's version.

You are right. It absolutely is.

The bikers fit Ragnar's concept really well imho and although I acknowledge the fact that the DAS is strong, whenever I've had them in the deck or rather on my hand, I could not find a decent enough time to actually play them.

On BAV vs Biker, I'd say the Veteran is broadly better. Its hard to one-shot the Veterans, so they almost always generate more attack over a combat, and as a regular Zarathur player I must say the Veterans completely mess up my "kill em all before the Ranged step" approach that I normally favour.

I'd say the Biker is a card to add after you already have 3 Veterans, if you want more 3 costers after Veterans and Librarians (and for many players, Maxos).

For me it's the 4 Damage, resulting in at least 1 absolutely unshieldable damage, leaving 1 damage for Crushing Blow to latch on to for example. Pump that with a Catachan Outpost and you get 3 unshieldable damage. Especially in an aggro deck (and that's what the deck is aside from the heavy command focus), I put more value on the bikers.

Good point on the Crushing Blow, hadn't thought of that. Lots of pros and cons to weigh up certainly.
