This is the deck I used to place 2nd at the Toronto regionals at Face 2 Face games. The turnout was 27 people and I went 4 - 1 in the swiss rounds. In the top 8 I had to beat a Eldorath and a Worr than lost to a Cato due to him having a really good starting hand and an amazing planet flop.
The deck is the expected hunting type deck and a lot of the cards in the deck are focused on that, however they are still all useful in a planet fight. Most of the games I was able to at least bloody my opponents warlord if not assassinate them. Between the Taurox APCs, Lone Wolves and the Blackmane Sentinels the deck has quite a bit of mobility to threaten warlords if they commit to a planet without a lot of backup. Adding to that is the typical Space Marine tricks that make many fight dangerous.
Sample Hand:
Total Shields: 0
Average Shields Per Event/Attachment: 0
Total Command: 0
Average Command Per Unit: 0
Fervor has been definitely useful in the games I have played. Many times an opponent will not put up much fight at the single green planets if I send two units there. I can than win and follow up by prepping for the next planet or sending those units to hunt the opponents warlord. Every time I have used it, it has been a game changer. Another use is to get units in my warlord train back into the fight earlier if I have to go to Tarrus or Osus and those planets are further back in the planet lineup.
