This deck went undefeated in a smallish (about 13 players) game night tournament.
Warlord
Order by: NameTypeCost
Total Cards: 0
The deck can put up a fight against any warlord. Beat Cato, 2 Kiths and a dark eldar version of Ba'ar. Play with strong focus on command, while the warlord's ability helps you save shields for the later game. I tend to play aggressively to get the big guy bloodied early - forcing out favourable trades. The Smash 'n Bash seems surprising but I noticed that Ba'ar tends to have larger train in the mid game and Smash can lead to a surprise win on a planet the opponent thought was safe. Elite decks that not reliant on command can pose problems when the alternate economy gets rolling. Not saying Ba'ar is strong, but always fun to play and definitely not doomed to lose.
Sample Hand:
Total Shields: 0
Average Shields Per Event/Attachment: 0
Total Command: 0
Average Command Per Unit: 0
My command was usually very good, and a temptation still can almost seal games as a first action on a tricolor planet. I only deployed purveyors when I already had the command lead. On the decisive planet they were devastating - though I think I would've won (in a much closer fight) without them. I have to add that I didn't face full on elite builds (on OCTGN yeah, it's swingy) - both Kith used Possessed and Venomous Fiend, but I could handle them and Kith is somewhat favourable match up for Ba'ar anyway. To sum up Purveyor is the best mid-range option for Ba'ar - I think, and it's art is crazy good

Nice! How well did the Temptation and purveyors synergies work as a choke and how big of an impact did it have on your games?
