The Fleshborer hasn't impressed me even in infestation heavy-builds. You invest a little too much for how easy it is for the opponent to counter. Promotion and Sudden Adaptation are higher on my list. Maybe Heavy Venom Cannon if you need more shields.
You probably don't need Predation either, not as a 3x anyway. Back to Sudden Adaptation, it can be a nice way to bounce your Hormagaunts so they can infest an important planet the next turn.
