It's about time I throw my deck out to the wolves of this site to tear apart.
The original intent of this deck was to experiment with a deck that was heavy on events and had fewer units. The original deck was trying to abuse hypex injector as well. Well, unfortunately, things hadn't worked quite as I wanted and I've scaled back the events and things are looking much closer to standard DE.
The idea I'm pushing forward with is hand control (not necessarily choke). The focus are cards like Crucible of Maledicition, Urien's Oubliette and Visions to control what my opponent has in their hand and to try and prevent them from drawing the cards they need. I also aim to have a strong command presence to help keep my hand size large.
This is mostly a standard Urien deck, but there are a few inclusions/exclusions that I want to specifically mention.
Murder of Razorwings: removing this card has been my latest change. I traded it out for Sybarite Marksman. There is a reason to my madness, read below in Sybarite Marksman's section. Razorwings may come back later, I have only gotten a chance to play this deck once so far, more research needed here.
Sybarite Marksman: I know this unit doesn't get a lot of love. However, in my earlier iterations of this deck I was noticing a common problem that I ran across every game. I had the command phase locked down, but I didn't have the combat units needed to win. While Razorwing's control was nice, cheap combat units is what I really needed.
Coliseum Fighters: These have been a big help with this deck. Bringing back events is a very powerful ability when a third of your deck are events. This also lets me reuse some of the better events such as visions of agony or Power from Pain.
Searing Brand: So far this event is the worst of the lot for me. It's pretty much exclusively used for Twisted Wracks or shields. Once a new torture event hits this is going to go.
Uber Grotesque: The fact that Uber Grotesque can't equip Hypex Injector was the final reason hypex injector was removed from the deck. However, this guy is still a good unit. He swings for 6 and that extra health helps him stay around for longer. I have had a lot of success with Uber Grotesque. The only thing I'm unsure about is if I really want to keep giving up one of my Warleader slots for him, or if I should switch to 3 Klaivex/1 Grotesque.
Recent Changes: Ok, so I decided it was time to update this deck again. The changes so far are small, but I have high hopes for a few of them.
The biggest change is that I have more units. I now have 30 units in the deck. I'm hoping this is going to strengthen my fighting capability. I did have to remove some attachments to bring these new units in though.
I have added Bloodied Reavers to the deck. They fit the low cost combat units I have been searching for.
Rotten Plaguebearers: I have added these back in. I originally removed them when I removed Hypex Injector, but I feel that I may have been a bit hasty in not letting these guys try and stand on their own. (thanks Ratadin for bringing them back to my attention)
Syren Zythlex: As a general rule I don't like 1x cards, but I felt she was too good to leave out of the deck entirely.
I look forward to seeing how these changes work for the deck, I'll try and update this deck more regularly now that the regionals season is coming to a close.
As always, advice/critiques are appreciated.

I've been looking at a similar deck, however have had minimal play testing opportunities so far.
None the less a few observations
1) I've also gone with Fanatics > Destructor as the deck needs to win Command to fuel its engine. However I do wonder if a 1st planet Destructor doesn't pack such a punch that it might be the better option.
2) I agree super-janky hypex is a trap, however I don't see the problem with building a deck like you have and then chucking in 1-2 hypex to give Mandrake some serious scare power. Would likely be at the expense of Promotion, which leads us back to the command issue, but I really think it's a viable option.
3) Wondering what your thoughts were on leaving Bloodied Reavers out, especially given you specifically mention a concern with lack of cheap combat units.
1) I keep going back and forth between fanatics and destructors. Right now, I feel the command presence is too important.
2) I had hypex in there with Mandrakes. It made them more useful, but I still felt promotion improved the deck more than hypex did.
3) Bloodied Reavers are on my list of units to consider, I could remove Searing Brand for them. The biggest reason I went with Sybarite Marksman over reavers is because I was removing Murder of Razorwings. I didn't want to trade a 1 cost with a 2 cost.
4) No, I've gone back and forth on Syren. I normally include her in my DE decks, but I don't know what I would remove for her at the moment. If I decide to scale back on uber grotesque or Warleader she will probably make an appearance.

4) No Syren Zythlex?
