This deck is designed to take advantage of the Tau's natural snowball ability, to take first planet after first planet. This is primarily achieved through the combination of experimental Devilfish and Fire Warrior Elite.
Fire warrior elites should be equipped with Repulsor field to inflict as much damage as they can and often with Stealth cadre and Bolter to keep them alive longer. Fireblade Kais'vre can also provide protection. Your goal is to lose as few units as possible before your warlord's force readies for the second round of combat.
Experimental Devilfish and Eager Recruit provide first round offense. If equipped and ready as battle is ending Crisis Battle Guard can Redeploy out near the end of combat and mobile back in ready to fight next round. Space Marines provide Exterminatus, which allows you to prevent your opponent from attempting to prep on planet 2 in order to wall up for an extra turn and stop your snowball.
Beware Eldar bearing Doom, you will have to adopt a less snowball driven tactic if Doom is a threat.
