I'm sure it's been done before - Steel Legion Chimera, Veterans with Bodyguard, some Bunkers to top things off. Straken needing to be in the thick of combat shouldn't hurt as much when he basically can't be hurt, right? Only tested once - worked reasonably well - slow to start but picked up momentum as units mostly survived combats. More than likely, this deck will be dismantled when I get Decree of Ruin, because I can probably only deal with 2 AM decks built at once.
I just built something very similar to this. Gonna push 3 Chimera and 3 Rockrete on Straken for the next 6 weeks or so. Im sure its been tested all the way to hell, but I need to see for myself.
I allied with Orks for Snakebite and Bikerz(both warriors). Wanted some extra punch in case Straken was not around.
