Nice deck. Out of curiosity is there a reason you didn't include the DE Unique unit as at least a 1 of?
He put the reasoning behind his choices on the forums. I don't really agree with all of his choices, I think he should have fit at least one Syren in because she's crazy good regardless of whether or not her "cost to stat ratio" is what he's looking for. Her ability is game changing. He should have also dumped one Doom and one Superiority for two Twisted Labs IMO. Those combined with the Archon's Terror would have given him a much needed edge over AoE. Hard to argue with his results, but I still think there's room for improvement here.
I kind of agree with the 3x superiority and 3x promotion being overkill, though I typically consider superiority a denial card more than one that helps me win struggles. I don't know about the survivalist. It looks good on paper, but it does seem to draw Warlord a lot more often than things like void pirates and rogue traders. I'm going to try running those instead of Survivalists for awhile on my DE deck and see how it goes.
If the warlord is wasting time with survivalists, then you can create all kinds of fun by wreaking havoc where you know he won't be.
True, but on the flip side, if you're more spread out (void pirate/rogue trader) there is a better chance of actually getting benefit from the resource boosts. Not to mention you can delay two turns instead of one. I played my first game without survivalists last night and I definitely got more benefit from them than I did the survivalist, but as you said playing survivalist definitely made my opponent's moves easier to predict. I'm going to keep my deck like this for the next couple of weeks so I can get a good feel for the difference.
