This deck, I beleive, has the tools to deal with the chaos elite builds (Kugath's in particular) that is dominating our meta.
Card Choices:
1) Exterminatus - Those big demons like to camp out on blue planets. Hopefully we can catch two of them napping at the same planet. 2) Calculated Strike - ++Destroy them STC fragment++ 3) Imperial Fists Devastators - ++Destroy the Corrupted Teleportarium++ 3) Mont'ka Strike - Probably the most controversial choice. The idea is to swing at the Helldrake with a XV25 Stealh Squad + BAV and/or 8th Company Assault Squad and take it down in one turn since the Helldrake's flying keyword doesn't matter since this isn't an attack.
I have yet to test this deck, but I believe this is a good start to give Vezuel a fight chance against the chaos elite builds.

Beleaguered Garrisons seems like such a good card for Vez. Can really cover gaps in his command game. Have you tried using that card yet? Seems like it's well worth including. With 20 deep strike cards it feels more useful than the Deathstorm Drop Pods, which are nice but command is so important in this game.
Mont'ka Strike seems better now in this meta, but still seems like a liability considering you are forced to exhaust all your soldiers at the target planet. Feels like even when it's useful it can come back to bite you. At least Vez isn't a soldier so it can't screw you the way it does with the majority of the other warlords that can field the card.

I have and I found it not to be that useful. With the Trailblazers and Vezuel drawing cards I've found that his command game isn't suffering, but take that with a grain of salt since I haven't tested it against Kith or Eldorath.

What if you have to fight Kith or Eldorath or something and you brought 9 command guys, 0 promotion, and 0 garrison?
