Zog Elite

I run Zogwort elite myself, slightly differently to you:

Deck Created with CardGameDB.com  Warhammer 40,000: Conquest Deckbuilder

Total Cards: (50)

Warlord:
1x Old Zogwort (Zogwort's Curse)

Army Unit: (26)
4x Zogwort’s Runtherders (Zogwort's Curse)
3x Possessed (Core Set)
2x Rogue Trader (Core Set)
3x Rotten Plaguebearers (Gift of the Ethereals)
3x Skrap Nabba (What Lurks Below)
2x Snake Bite Thug (The Threat Beyond)
3x Splintered Path Acolyte (Core Set)
3x Venomous Fiend (Legions of Death)
3x Void Pirate (Core Set)

Not saying Blitza-Bomma or Trukk are in any way bad, but the nice thing about Possessed is that it has a superb synergy with Corrupted Teleportarium, and is a daemon, so can be discounted more easily.
Six discountable elites makes it justifiable to then run max SPA and Promise to Glory, which makes speed of Elite deployment a LOT more consistent. Like yourself, I run Skrap Nabbas and Rogue Traders as well and a low-high cost curve, but while your curve goes 4/19/7/11/0/9, mine goes 7/21/9/7/0/6, leaning even harder to the left side, which I feel gives consistency.

Attachment: (4)
1x Wyrdboy Stikk (Zogwort's Curse)
3x Promotion (Core Set)

Event: (11)
2x Launch Da Snots (Zogwort's Curse)
3x Backlash (Legions of Death)
3x Promise of Glory (Core Set)
3x Squiggify (Descendants of Isha)

I've gone less toolboxy than you, as all I really want is the (expensive but solid) control of Squiggify. I feel Elite decks are always going to need use room up on low cost deployables and on elite-enablers. Anything more conditional than that has to leave the deck.

Support: (9)
1x Zogwort’s Hovel (Zogwort's Curse)
3x Ammo Depot (Gift of the Ethereals)
2x Corrupted Teleportarium (What Lurks Below)
3x STC Fragment (Legions of Death)

This is where we differ a lot. I know 9 is a lot of supports, but frankly low-high curves with card->resource exchanges are where ammo depot really shines. Also, I find it often hard to use more than 1 Teleportarium in a turn, so I find two is plenty, though I've made sure to pick the two elites that benefit from it the most.

In my mind, I think your deck will struggle with resource economy, and may often draw elite-specific cards without elites in play, or have the right event to hand with no resources to play them. However, its all a balancing act!

Of course, what both our decks lack, by necessity, is decent numbers of shields and any sort of cheap control option. Of course, you can't always have it all!

in regards to above deck:

3x stc, 3x promise and 3x SPA with only 6 elites?

thats definitely overkill.

Sure, but SPA and Promise also work for the Plaguebearers, and have some functional purpose in isolation anyway.

3x STC may be too much though, you're right. I need to find room for more 2-shielders anyway.

I'll drop a Promise and an STC, and add in 2 Battle Cries, I think.
