AO ramping is always scary when it comes together.

One pointer is that Nug has been eratta'd to 'When you play from hand' (meaning all costs paid, with any reductions of course, and played out as a normal card) so won't activate and resource ramp using Aziz (or something like Under the Porch). It was soon discovered that everyone was simply phasing Nug in and out for a ridiculous amount of resources so they changed his trigger condition. You might also like a couple more targets for Arthur Todd too by the way but that's entirely up to you.

Other than that a viable strategy and a good representation of it. Well done !
I was aware of the errata, but I figured Aziz would still work as the text on Aziz says "from you hand" like the Nug errata. Then use the midwife to bring back Aziz, rinse, repeat. But if that's not the case then taking out The Festival or The Three Bells pretty much stalls out the entire deck.

I guess a focus on cost reduction may be needed then, or a way to protect Festival/Three Bells or recur it if it gets blown up. Though to my knowledge Cthulhu and Shub don't exactly excel at that.

As far as more targets for Todd, that's mostly just due to cards i'm lacking. The deck was built around cards I currently own, but I hope to be fixing that issue soon. Bloodthirsty Starspawn, Cthylla and Zstylzhemgni may end up just being placeholders until I can get my hands on something better.

Yeah. Cthulhu is very word specific and can take some time to get your head around so I can see how you made that assumption. Even established players make errors in ruling and timing from time to time.

The important text here is that 'Play from hand' (as per Nug) is different to 'Put into play from hand' (as per Aziz).

You're on the right track though so keep it up!

Ranked 2nd place at my pre-regionals store championship with this deck on Saturday.

The idea is to stick any AO characters (except Nug and Y'Golonac) you get into your resources early, using Three Bells, Aziz, Black Dog, and Carl Stanford to stall the opponent while you get out Seeker, Ghoulish Worshipper, and Midwife. All the while building up your resources with Nug, Harvesting Mi-Go, and The Festival.

The Star Spawn, Y'Golonac provide a good mid-game defense along with getting out an AO early with Arthur Todd.

Once ready you start pulling AO cards out of your resources and into your discard pile with The Festival and bring them into play with the Midwife. This also allows you to fish out AO cards if you're not hitting any with your normal draws.

Once you get Cthulhu out you can start forcing your opponent so sacrifice 3 characters a turn and swing in with everything you have once they don't have enough to defend your wave of AO characters every turn.

In addition, cards that aren't useful in the late game like Midwife, Black Dog, Seeker, and Ghoulish Worshipper can be used as sac fodder for Three Bells and Cthylla. Alternatively they can be used to give Carl Stanford or Nyogtha a temporary boost. While Thunder in the East and Dragged into the Deep can deal with many of the opponents cards that may be causing you trouble.

As always the deck is a work in progress. Any comments, tips, or card suggestions are always welcome.
