Well done making some easily accessable decks for newer players. Keep up the good work.
Yes, good work on the decks. But wouldn't new players be less likely to have the Forgotten Lore cycle? Still, thumbs up for limited cardpool because we get to see fresh cards that way.
Thank you!

First, sorry for the late reply - I had taken a short vacation from the internet. Oh, and a happy new year!

There's a very practical reason for the inclusion of the Forgotten Lore cycle:
I have introduced a new player to CoC, and we decided to start small and then slowly increase our card-pool (about one expansion every 1-2 months).
We originally started in roughly chronological order, so Forgotten Lore was the first cycle we added.
Due to limited availability of expansions we've since mixed up things a bit.

Here's our current card-pool, listed in the order we added expansions (as far as I can remember):
- 2x Core (later added a third)
- Forgotten Lore
- Secrets of Arkham

- Summons of the Deep

- The Key and the Gate
- Terror in Venice

- The Yuggoth Contract
- The Order of the Silver Twilight

I'm basically just posting the decks I liked most, after I'm done playing them, i.e. before adding a new expansion to the pool :)

I'm quite happy with the approach we've taken. It really allows you to get a fresh look at some overlooked or rarely played cards.
I've also found it takes me less time to build decks if I don't have to consider the whole card pool - definitely a big plus!
