This deck is a counter Yithian-mill-deck. It uses the Yithian mill against those decks and stops own getting milled with Forgotten Shoggoth.
Tesla is a own way to go for victory. And opponent has to deal with him! If not, ;)
Khopesh can clear a lot of characters and destroy Tesla as well. Naaginn and Khopesh are auto recycling and put tokens on Tesla, too.
Peaslee can give you some useful characters as well.
Flooded Vault can search for Khopesh or Y'ha-nthlei Statue if opponent wants to rush. Also for the Plague Stone, which triggers Tesla and clears the board. (Fun to trigger it!!;)

All in all the deck is versatile.
the 60 cards are against milling, too. But it makes the deck a bit randomly and slower as it could be.
If it isn't milled, you have to mill it by yourself (needs ressounces and actions).
The intention was primary to counter the Yithian mill decks. But unfortunately there was no Yithian mill deck at Euro I could counter. :(
So Tesla was the card I wanted to play as quick as possible. If he appeared in time, I won. If not, I lost.

After Euro I wouldn't play this deck anymore. In general it's not bad, but a little bit too slow.

Ha! I had also planned to bring a counter-Yithin deck, but alas, it was crushed by the release of FAQ 3.2. I probably would have fared a lot worse than you! :-)

I didn't want to use the hated Yithian cards, so my deck used mainly Cthulhu (Flooded Vault!) and Shub (mostly for The Stone on the Peak (DD)) and some Silver Twilight, since I figured bouncing was preferable to killing/destroying characters to prevent them from ending up in the discard pile.

It's a pity I didn't have the time to come up with a new deck...
I'm hopeful that at some point the players who feel such distain for the Yithian deck can demonstrate an ability to actually beat it. If we're lucky, nothing will get nerfed in the next year, so they'll get another couple of shots.

While we're at it: perhaps Jeremy, who actually won his tournament, would care to write up a report? Otherwise, another report from DarkSeph will do, I guess. Lord knows he's been quitting for a few months, so we'd better treasure him while we still can.

Well, I cannot even play it :D - the deck was playing me! And here's the worst: I even won!
I don't actually care how powerful the deck is or not, except that if it wasn't (perceived as being) strong, it wouldn't see play.
My personal problem with it is that it's unfun to play and unfun to play against.

P.S.: I just noticed you seem to have posted in pretty much every thread to spread vitriol. What happened? Did someone crap in your breakfast and you noticed it too late? You need to lighten up.
