The deck name comes from classic Universal Dracula (Renfield: Ratssss! Rats in the wallssss!)

The deck is Hastur/Cthulhu control/destruction deck that aims to set up the Temple/Uroborus combo and finish with big serpents. Hastur insanity effects provide stall until the combo is set up and help with overall board domination. Stygian Eye also plays a big part, as it can be really devastating mixed in with all the insanity and desrtruction going on.

Carpathian, Danni Devine and Flooded Vault are there to help fetch the combo pieces and especially Stygian Eye, and since i have Relic Hunters, i also added the Owlswick Necronomicon to boost them. It can also help me clear the board in a pinch, stuff some snakes into discard for Uroborus combo and can be targeted with Flooded Vault. Also never underestimate the simple Disguised Threat -> Feathered Serpent play that can really keep you safe for early turns. A lot of the cards like Dreamland Fanatic, Performance Artist and Victoria Glasser for example are just basic good efficient cards that i tend to include in every Cthulhu and/or Hastur deck i construct. Jeff Harson is a bit of a question mark. Never played him and don't know if he fits into the deck, but i wan't to definitely try him as he seems quite powerful, especially if he hits the board in the first turn.

The first possible problem i can see with this deck is the lack of Hastur cards which could become a resourcing problem. Also, the DOA might not be enough to clear any opposing Support cards.

I haven't tried this one out yet, but at first glance it seems to work out. Definitely more interesting to play than the usual mono-Cthulhu serpent deck i play. Any help/insight with the list is very much appreciated. I try to keep this somewhere between casual and serious, not quite tournament material but still quick, efficient and deadly.
