The "kneel" part is executed before or after vengeful?

Since both effects are passive I imagine the first player would have to decide.

I don't recall the reference, but I seem to remember that plot passives trump other passives.
I have never heard that before slothgodfather, and would concur with emptyrepublic in that they conflicting passive effects, and as such the First Player would have to chose which happens first.

Yea, you are likely right. I was going over the idea that vengeful is optional, but passives still all happen at once, so it will come down to the first player's decision - and with a 7 INIT I can guess who won initiative!
When revealed passive effects on plots always trump other passives during the framework action window during the plot phase. Since this is not a when revealed effect during that framework action window then it would be treated like any other passive effect and the first player would determine order.

And there is no special circumstances for keyword abilities? They trigger along with all other passive effects as a challenge resolves?
I'm a bit confused. Who is choosing? The player who won initiative? Or the first player?

The first player, and in this scenario if they are the controller of the plot they'd likely require Vengeful to go off first before the plot passive in order for the plot's effect to have meaning.
