Seems like it would be fun for melee games.

Solid card for joust games as well. Greyjoy BS were lacking naval icons for int and power challenges and aurane fills both of those gaps.

I would have preferred the title ability to be on a separate tile card.
If he would cost 2, this could be a great card, but in this way.. Its averege instead of crap only because of the naval icons.

Generally a card that is equal in cost/STR and has 2 icons, it is a pretty vanilla card but not bad. When you add in an ability, then it just gets better. 2 naval icons is amazing really, he has a fantastic trait, and if you are playing in joust he is just a really solid character. If you are playing in melee, then he is still a solid character with a very interesting ability. Yes it has the potential to benefit your opponents, but if your already building a unique heavy deck (Quentyn decks) then he could make for some awesome potential.

Do I wish his ability was different to ensure my opponent's couldn't get his effect, sure. Do I think he is still awesome, interesting and going to get played - yep.

Now that I'm thinking about it, a black sails Melee deck would be pretty fun. and if you can get this "title" makes getting the BS trigger even easier.
