I'm building a HoD Holy deck based on this card. I don't have high hopes for it, but want to give it a shot.

Given most holy decks run power of faith x 2, do you really gain much from it? I think I'd rather have a different longship.

I think I'll give it a shot. Non-kneeling Warships are great for Naval Escort (ASitD), and found that my Holy decks often suffered from a lack of punch on non-POF turns--if you can prevent my Alpha Strike, a lot of times the deck just fails.

You need draw in order to win with Holy deck. Aeron is the only viable choice as an agenda here I think. But this is still a nice card to have in your deck - not 3x but its good when it appears cause PoF x2 might not be enough sometimes. It could be cheaper though.

I had good results with using HoD Longship Iron Victory as well as Bay of Ice and high initiative plots to generate draw.

Although there is already The Power of Faith (KotStorm), it is still useful to have military icons during the turns you don't have this plot out. Addition of one unique card to a deck and you can potentially open up a whole new avenue of attacks. Seems like a very good card to me.
