Ooooh, I missed the "STR" and though he could discard characters with less power then himself. Makes him a lot worse. But is he still good? I'm not that thrilled any more. And isn't it a bit weird that they didn't give him the Joust keyword?

They did take the best quote though :)

(Sorry, but someone had to charge the subject away from Ser Barry :P)

I like this Jaime a lot mainly because the infamy keyword seems to be getting some more love. I'm not a fan of infamy but this is making it better to use.

This is very good. I like to see infamy actually becoming something useful in lanni.
It's quite interesting that they relaese new Jaime version just before Lannister expansion. Anyway his not good. No crest, only infamy keyword and avarage stats 4for3 bicons. kneel ability without conditional part looks as well not impressive, possibility to kneel non-Army character by kneeling Jaime could give something if we really want to avoid that character in challanges but its very situational. Second part of ability is slow and requires at least 3-5 power on Jaime to do something. Cost is too high comapring what we get in return.
Jaime without Deadly means he doesn't get played, especially with
Ser Jaime Lannister (TTotH) as an option. He causes a kneel, and has deadly and a war cest and he didn't lose his Lord trait.

New Jaime's kneel is unconditional, that's useful by itself and I can't think of a comparable card. Furthermore, we've already seen two cards with additional character power generation. There may be more to come still. And besides, he's the only Jaime with Kingsguard. That's also a little nice.

From a nuts and bolts perspective i like the other Jaimes better, but this one's ability is pretty excellent. The lack of crest is irritating, but with the right build (Lannister Kingsguard perhaps) he could get a lot of power quickly, and using something likeKingsguard Squire (PotS) to stand him would be useful.
Great Jaime! We've needed a Kingsguard Jaime for ages
I've tried this guy builiding a deck around him. And he is awesome. With the new Highgarden (TftH) you'll only need to put 3-4 power counter on him, and he is like a mini Westeros Bleeds (Core). All you have to do is protect him for a round or two, force some power on him, and you can wipe the board. A few cards that can help earning power for this knight: Into the Lists (TftH), Infamous! (LotR),Longclaw (ASitD), Isle of Faces (APS).
If you don't have enough power on him, you can still stand him with Kingsguard Squire (PotS) for example, and you are in one standing character advantage. You can always kneel the big guys and discard the lil'ones.
actually he cannot wipe the board, or well he can but it will take somewhat time. There is that irritating (limit 1 per phase) and you can only activate his ability during challenges so it makes only for one dead character per turn which usually just isn't worth the effort. I can only see this one getting played over the others in a kingsguard build just for the trait.
Aaaarghh.... I've totally missed the limit 1 per phase... So that's why it was so effective.. :)
