Can this be used to cancel the effects of an agenda, e.g. The Kindly Man? And if that particular agenda is once per phase then it doesn't matter that the effects have been cancelled, you can't trigger it again?
Nope, agenda responses are cannot be cancelled so if your opponent uses kindly man after you have kneeled painted table the painted table cancel is wasted since it was unable to cancel the next effect triggered.
Now limits and cancels if you cancel something it will also use its limit, but again you cannot cancel an agenda so it does not matter in this case.
Ok, cool - but Brienne of Tarth (PotS) can stop it being triggered in the first place, right?
