I'm tempted to run him in my stark/martell noble deck. Sure he costs more the first time you play him but free back in after that! (Assuming you bother to bring him back out... the discard could be useful)
This guy seems WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY cool, and powerful.

Undercosted?

I think Theon may make his way back into my raiding deck :D
the simbol of infinit for what sorry for my english Y_Y
i i have 2 copies in the dead pile and use the skill ?? wok or not
It should be pretty rare that you have two copies of him in your dead pile, since duplicates attached to him are discarded from play and you can't play a new one (to die) if you have him in your dead pile. I can happen though with cards such as Aegon's Hill. And in that case I also wonder how it actually works, but it seems to me (and I'm no expert) that both cards passive abilities would have effect (discard top 2 cards) and if a character is discarded, put both cards into play - one as a duplicate.

I'd like to have this confirmed however.

I'm not certain if the effect would trigger twice with 2 of him in your dead pile, but I do think you are correct that both would get put into play at the same time, allowing one to become a duplicate.

@ Zuta, the infinite symbol is just a reference to indicate the card has a way of returning itself to play (or your hand in other cases) from an out of play state.

Another example is Endless Endurance (LoW).
I would say you would discard twice for two of him in your dead pile. Just like you can trigger two separate The Titan's Bastard (Core) from out of play on the same trigger. I'd still ask Ktom though, just to be safe.

Seems like they should perform their discard effects, but neither copy would be able to be returned to play if there are 2 or more in the dead pile -- returning to play happens via a separate triggered "Response:" ability on each card, so when you try to trigger this response for one copy, the other copy's presence in the dead pile would prevent it from being put into play.
True story Stag! Missed that part of it.
Haha. Of course.
